Peter is an executive with over 10 years’ experience in developing and implementing market penetration strategies for organizations ranging in size from start-up to over $300 million in annual revenue. He previously held international management roles for leading education tech companies.
Peter has extensive experience in the ecommerce industry as a result of operating his own ecommerce retail business prior, and now as a successful and well-known wholesaler/distributor to hundreds of ecommerce retailers. He is a member of several ad hoc groups of wholesalers and ecommerce retailers who regularly communicate to share and compare industry best practices.
Peter holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Southern Virginia University.
For the past 20 years, Ken has worked in the indirect tax arena as a state auditor, consultant, and process owner. His experience includes state and local sales and use tax, state and local occupancy tax, federal and state telecommunications tax, federal, state and local motor fuel excise tax, local business licenses, and several other indirect taxes. He is also well- versed in the application of Six Sigma process design and implementation in the indirect tax function.
Previously, Ken held indirect tax leadership roles at United Technologies and Intercontinental Hotels Group. He currently is the Principal at Indirect Tax Solutions, a company he founded in 2013. Indirect Tax Solutions identifies and designs custom deliverables for indirect tax departments documenting real dollar, enterprise value to the organizations.
Ken holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Eastern Illinois University. He is a Certified Member (CMI) of the Institute for Professionals in Taxation. He resides in Atlanta, GA.
Eric Hsu started his career with the California State Board of Equalization and worked in the San Jose and Sacramento Out-Of-State District offices. He left the Board as a Senior Tax Auditor with the Interstate Commerce Analysis Team (ICAT). Eric was part of a team who investigates leads to determine if an audit is warranted. Eric moved on to work for a multi-state SALT company where he was a Senior Tax Consultant where he advises on SALT issues.
Eric holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from San Jose State University.
Steven has ten years of sales and use tax experience. He started his career with the California State Board of Equalization in the San Jose district office as a Tax Technician before moving to the Use Tax Administration Section of the BOE in Sacramento as a member of the U.S. Customs Group. His final years were spent as a Business Taxes Representative in the Return Analysis Unit of the California Department of Tax and Fee Administration where he performs desk audits of gas, diesel, and jet fuel sales and use tax accounts.
Jen Little is a seasoned communicator and creative thinker. She is an expert multicultural marketer, a social media ace, PR pro, and graphic designer.
Jen’s extensive media and public relations experience allow Ampersand Accounting, LLC to act immediately to disseminate information to our valued clients, the media and the eCommerce industry at large in this ever-changing environment with states and sales tax.
Jen calls Virginia home, yet currently works from both Staunton, Virginia and Portland, Oregon due to the presence of Ampersand Accounting, LLC clients nationwide. The love of her life is the beautiful Chocolate Lab she rescued, Libby.
